Sports Illustrated love for Boise State

This will be certain to raise the dander of fans of the Mountain West Conference while making fans in the Western Athletic Conference smile.

Sports Illustrated has Boise State primed to make a BCS Championship Game run. Writer Andy Staple posted his Top 25 team after spring football and he has Boise State at No. 2.

Quarterback Kellen “Moore struggled a bit during spring practice. Does that mean the Broncos are overrated? Absolutely not,” Staples wrote. “Few defenses have been able to stop Moore. If Boise State’s can, that’s great news for the Broncos, who probably will begin this season ranked high enough to bust the BCS title game if they go undefeated.”

For what it’s worth, the MWC is well represtented with TCU checking in at No. 6 and Utah ranked No. 25.
