Checking in from Spokane

Utah State’s players and coaches are about to hit the floor and interview room as they get ready for tomorrow’s game against Texas A&M.

With a seasoned team that features four players who started in last year’s NCAA Tournament game against Marquette, it’s doubtful the Aggies will be overwhelmed or in awe of the situation they find themselves in.

Regardless, USU coach Stew Morrill should be a happy guy right now. His former assistant coach and good friend Blaine Taylor just supplied the first ‘upset’ of the day when the Old Dominion Monarchs took down Notre Dame.
