Want to have dinner with Jaycee Carroll?

It might not require a trip to the Canary Islands where he is playing professional basketball. Instead, fans of the former Utah State basketball star might need only drive across the state line to Preston, Idaho.

Carroll, USU’s all-time leading scorer, recently purchased a restaurant in Preston and shared the news on his Facebook page.

“Well, it is finally official we now own a restaurant in Preston, Idaho…It is called “Preston’s Main Street Grill” Steak.Seafood.Pasta….the tentative date it will open is April 24…so everyone plan on heading up to Preston, Idaho and try it out.”

No word on whether Carroll will move to the land of Napoleon Dynamite or own the restaurant from afar while he continues his basketball career.
