Moving on up the brackets

According to the latest ESPN Bracketology projections (http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology) Utah State is now an 11 seed playing against Xavier in Providence, Rhode Island. If, and it’s always a big if, the Aggies were to win in that predicted first round matchup, they’d face the winner of No. 3 Pittsburgh and No. 14 Sam Houston State for the right to go to the Sweet 16 round to be played in EnergySolutions Arena.

An interesting note, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi no longer has the Aggies as a participant only if they win their conference tournament. That means he believes USU would be an at-large team if the selection committee were seated today.
