500 for Stew
Any way you slice it, Stew Morrill is a success.
The 12th-year Utah State coach has been a head coach for 24 years and has had only one losing season — his first at Colorado State. He followed that up with six winning seasons in Fort Collins — something Ram fans could only dream of nowadays.
Morrill inherited a pretty good Utah State team from Larry Eustachy and took it up a notch.
After a 15-13 campaign in his first year at USU, he’s won 23 or more games 11 times in a row and is set up nicely to make it 12 this year.
