The Spectrum is already rocking

I arrived at the Spectrum a little more than an hour before tipoff and parked near the student center before walking to the arena.

A line of students, 4-wide, snaked from the south entry across and around the PE fields behind the HPER building and didn’t end until it crested the berm next to fraternity row.

When the doors opened the crowd rushed in and the screaming began.

Chants, signs and jeers of all sorts began almost as soon as the 4,000-plus students found their seats.

Cougar or Aggie, it shouldn’t matter — if you can’t get excited about an environment like this is going to be, you probably can’t get excited for anything.
