Andersen hosting football clinic for the ladies

Football fans have been hard to find at Utah State over the last decade or so.

So new Aggie coach Gary Andersen is hosting a free football clinic this Thursday in an effort to develop a new set of fans — women.

The clinic, modeled after several successful clinics of similar nature he participated in while coaching down the road at Utah. The new Football 101 gettogether will focus on the basics of the sport for the women who might want to understand the game their husbands just might be obsessed with.

In the process, Andersen and USU hope to plant the seeds that will grow a new generation of Aggie fans.

The class will be held Thursday night at 6 p.m. Participants should come dressed ready to be active and are encouraged to enter Romney Stadium from the northwest gate.
